In May 2024, TDS Managing Director, Rona Tait, was inducted into the Worshipful Company of Launderers. This is a significant honour, reflecting her impact and dedication to the commercial laundry industry.

Rona Tait has a remarkable journey, having started TDS Commercial in 2006 and growing it into a successful business known for its sustainable practices. Her induction into the Worshipful Company of Launderers is a testament to her leadership and innovation in the field.

The Worshipful Company of Launderers is a modern Livery Company (Precedent #89) with enormous respect for the heritage of the Livery traditions but fortunate enough to be representative of a relevant industry in today’s world. Thus having the rare capability of straddling both worlds, incorporating support of state-of-the-art, high-tech research with the ancient traditions of the Livery and Guilds of the City of London.

The aims and purposes of the Livery as an institution dedicated to the improvement and indeed betterment of the craft, trade and profession of Launderers and Cleaners.
